Marquette, MI –  December 19, 2018  –  We’re participating in another year of holiday traditions in Marquette County bringing the elderly and disabled to Christmas Dinner!

Enjoy a delicious Christmas meal at the Elks Lodge in Ishpeming.

Enjoy a delicious Christmas meal at the Elks Lodge in Ishpeming or Salvation Army in Marquette.

This year we’ve teamed up with both the Superiorland Kiwanis Club/Salvation Army and the Elks Lodge in Ishpeming to transport elderly or handicapped community members to both Community Christmas Dinners. As one of our special services, our drivers will pick up attending elderly or disable residents right from their homes!

Like last year Marq-Tran will provided transportation for qualifying residents to the Marquette Community Christmas Dinner. New this year, we will also offer round trip services out to the Ishpeming Elks Lodge for their free holiday event. The Elks will be hard at work cooking up 350 pounds of Turkey, 80 pounds of ham, 40 apple pies, 40 pumpkin pies, and more for an incredible Christmas celebration!

Dinner will be served Christmas Day at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge from 11:30a to 2pm. At the Salvation Army, catch dinner from noon to 3pm.
