Marquette, MI – April 22, 2019 – U.P. Pink Power is a small group of women and volunteers in our community that help “Pay it Forward”. They do various fundraisers throughout the year to help support those fighting diseases, dealing with tragedies, or illnesses of any kind.

For several years, Marq-Tran has participated in one of the U.P. Pink Power fundraisers, the 17 Mile FUNdraising Walk. Marquette County Transit Authority donates several buses for the day of the walk to help shuttle people to and from the walk, plus pick up people along the way who many not be able to complete the full 17 miles. Join us to help pay it forward this Saturday, April 27th!

The annual event takes participants from Tall Timbers Store to Gary’s Knotty Pine. There will be food and fun pit stops along the way and Marq-Tran “support vehicles” will be there the whole time to pick you up when you’ve completed your portion of the walk.

Registration for this event is open from 8:00am to 9:30am and the walk starts at 10:00am. To learn more, visit the official U.P. Pink Power website.
